The story of Hong Kong, from New Year's Day to June 30th, 1997, when the British left their colony and turned it over to the People's Republic of China.

It tells that Tang Yongqiang lives with his wife and children in a village house in the New Territories. Although his wife has a job, Tang Yongqiang is unemployed and has no income. He lives on CSSA. The relationship between the two couples gradually faded, and his wife even went out of the wall. Tang Yi was angry and beat his wife. The wife left Tang and ran away with her lover. When two female social workers followed up the case of Tang’s troubled family, they discovered that Tang Zheng was holding their children at home and demanding to meet with his wife. In the end, LPG was detonated. The police searched evidence and gave confessions at the scene, and discovered the bodies of the victims of the missing girls in two recent cases. Everyone was terrified.

Dans une école formant au métier de policier, trois éléments sont officiellement répudiés de l'académie, mais officieusement reçoivent l'ordre de s'intégrer au gang de Sam, un boss de triade notoire. Parallèlement, un élément du gang de Sam, Watson, réussit à s'imposer dans l'institution policière... En effet, voilà bien une parodie d'Internal Affairs par Wong Jing, totalement délirante. Yan, Fatty et Keung vont faire des pieds et des mains pour réussir leur délinquante adoption, dans des situations toujours plus loufoques. Attentifs aux moindres mouvements de Sam, ils agissent pourtant et bien malgré eux pour un but bien peu noble : leur mandataire, l'inspecteur Nat, veut récupérer les faveurs de la fiancée de Sam, Mandy...

A film that foretells three modern-day ghost stories, set in the City of Hong Kong. The first segment deals with a popular singer that mysteriously falls into a deep coma, and the public is unaware that his spirit is detained by the ghost of an obsessed fan of his. His plea for help is only recognized by his nurse. In the second segment, four college girls are assigned an unusual project, and their selected-topic is to "interview" the ghost of the "Braided Woman." When they encounter the streets where the ghost was claimed to roam, they find themselves in a mist of terror. In the third segment, two night-duty police officers stumble upon a mysterious crisis when their speed-tracking camera detects a image of an old woman. After the woman's first sighting, the officers encounter her in every place they go, and their only solution is to find out what she wants.

Mike, Jean, Shoot and Q are a professional robbery gang working for Uncle Lam. Q loves his girlfriend Bo who loves decisive men and luxury life. Shoot loves exotic fishes and Jean. Jean loves Mike, but he is married to another woman and has a young son. Uncle Lam loves good meals and big money.
