When she is fired from her only job in a series of infomercials, Amanda, an actress with little talent and whose film career is forgotten, decides to resume her career in the midst of an economic crisis that leads her to a questionnaire about her vocation, but also, that the shore to rethink its responsibility as the mother of Nicolás, a 7-year-old boy to whom she had not paid much attention until then.

Rodrigo Gómez, alias Rodri, est un quadragénaire vivant à Bogota où il est entretenu par sa sœur aînée, Leticia. On suit pendant quelques jours cet homme au physique fragile, à l’allure un peu attardée, profondément paumé et détruit par sa relation avec son ex-femme.

À Bogota, Silvia, mère célibataire et avocate, est mise en cause dans un scandale de corruption. À ses difficultés professionnelles s'ajoute une angoisse plus profonde. Leticia, sa mère, est gravement malade. Tandis qu'elle doit se confronter à son inéluctable disparition, Sylvia se lance dans une histoire d'amour, la première depuis des années.
