Après 2 ans passés à Sing Sing, Paul Vitti voit approcher l'heure de sa libération lorsqu'il est la cible de deux tentatives de meurtre. Traumatisé, le mafioso sombre dans un état dépressif. Ben Sobel, son ancien psychothérapeute chargé de sa remise en état, découvre que Vitti l'a manipulé pour sortir de prison. Sa conscience professionnelle l'oblige cependant à finir la cure entreprise deux ans plus tôt afin de ramener le gangster dans le droit chemin. Pour faciliter la réinsertion de Vitti, il lui cherche d'abord un travail honnête et lui obtient finalement un poste de conseiller technique pour une série télévisée sur la mafia...

Bernardo Gigliotti directs this indie psychodrama. Looking to launch a career as a blues guitarist, Bobby (Ron Carlson) moves to Los Angeles and is immediately offered a job playing in a bar. He finds board in the home of Faye (Denise Gentile), who keeps her paralyzed husband in the attic. Things are going well until Bobby realizes that Faye is a murderer.

La clope au bec, toujours bien rasé, les abdos hyper dessinés, ce qu'il faut de poils, un regard à tomber par terre, et bien sûr le sourire éclatant laissant entrevoir ses dents d'une blancheur étincelante. Au travail, Nick attend d'être nommé directeur de la création mais va se faire doubler par une femme. Victime d'un malencontreux accident, il découvre qu'il peut soudain entendre ce que pensent toutes les femmes.
