Brava Gente was a television series aired by TV Globo in Brazil between 2000 and 2003, initially as a special year-end. The program was adapted from stories and national stories, and plays by famous playwrights, screenwriters and signed by a number represented by several actors and actresses. The genres of the stories varied each week with the style of each director or author. Brava Gente in the stories ranged from comedies and dramas. In all 53 episodes were shown, broadcast on Tuesday nights.

The whole story develops from the doctor Martha, who has worked for 40 years, always at the same clinic in Rio de Janeiro. She knows Cris and realizes that she has found a successor. Then begins the friendship of the two, who try to practice their profession with the utmost ethics, despite the owner of the clinic, who is always trying to say, save.

The struggling Lívia despairs when she learns that her husband, before dying, lost a fortune in shady deals. Engineer Rodrigo also arrives in the city, followed by his ex-girlfriend Lara. The two are the first victims of vampires. Lara is bitten by Victor and becomes an evil vampire, due to her bad temper. Rodrigo is bitten by Mina, who becomes pregnant and is expecting a daughter from him, which she says is from Boris. Meanwhile, Rodrigo is used by Boris to approach Lívia. Who does not like this involvement is Augusto, a friend of Lívia who has loved her in the past. Augusto is a widower who raises his small children with the help of sister-in-law Marta, a blind woman, but bitter and Machiavellian, who does everything to keep him from Lívia, because she loves him.

João Medeiros is an internationally renowned photographer who suffers an attack in Prague, when he happens to photograph a Nazi leader who was in the middle of secret plans. In his last moments on Earth, his life is saved by the angel Rafael, sent by the highest heavenly bodies to offer him a new chance. The angel warns the photographer that he will only have six months to live to solve his problems with his family, neglected since he abandoned everything for the profession - including solving his situation with ex-wife Naná, who now lives with the profiteer Tarsus, and get along with his two daughters. Virginia has become a renowned stylist, but blames her father for the leg problem caused by an accident she suffered as a teenager and ended her ballet career. Duda, on the other hand, developed obsessive-compulsive disorder after her son Kiko disappeared years before, putting her marriage to Maurício in a long crisis.
