Argentina, 1985 est inspiré de l'histoire vraie de Julio Strassera, Luis Moreno Ocampo et de leur jeune équipe juridique de héros improbables, racontant leur bataille façon David contre Goliath dans laquelle, malgré les menaces constantes, ils ont osé poursuivre la plus cruelle des dictatures militaires de l'Argentine, afin de pouvoir rendre justice aux victimes de la junte militaire.

Edgar and David find a sculpture at an archeological excavation. Obsessed with the find, Edgar embarks on a journey and disappears without a trace. Years later, María, his daughter, decides to go and look for him in the jungle.

In his first feature, director César Sodero contrasts Emilia's inner restlessness with the immutability of Patagonia. He does this using images of impressive landscapes, natural dialogue and telling non-verbal communication. Surrounded by the peace and beauty of nature, inner chaos gradually gives way to acceptance and self-awareness.

Throughout the 20th century and beyond, the rooms of an Argentinian house are witness to very different inhabitants and mysteries. Filmmaker Diego Lerman takes the opportunity of a TV series to tell different stories in various artistic styles, collectively portraying the many faces and tribulations of one country.
