Svetlana Dramlić

Set in socialist Yugoslavia in 1986, a humble and diligent factory worker falls into a 10-year shock right at his working place. He wakes up from coma in hospital in 1996 capitalist Slovenia, only to find out that he's left without job as being redundant.

6 young directors from 6 countries in 3 days in front of the Golden Drum participants created, shot and edited each their own short film on a topic »Cum grano salis«. The topic was revealed to each director only 6 hours before the shooting begins. They all have the same working conditions, the same technical equipment and two actors available. That's the way they can equally demonstrate their creative fantasy and professional ingenuity.

Mario operates a crane in a small shipyard on an idyllic island. On a windy and gloomy day he gets struck by a thought that the sea could be something different in his eyes. He decides to run away from his loneliness and routine.
