Based off of the novel, "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King" and the ballet, "The Nutcracker", Sanrio shows their take on the classic story in a stop-motion animated film.

After World War II, when Okinawa was under control of the United States, the local yakuza prospered. But when Okinawa is returned to Japan, the mainland yakuza tries to take over; the local yakuza tries to compete. Now sides are drawn among the local yakuza guys who used to be best friends since their childhood, and brother fights brother. It results in the biggest yakuza war in Okinawa.

Tetsuo was suddenly told goodbye by Ginji. As for the farewell, only one of the tables was a real wad of bills and a full trunk. And, in that, there is a letter saying "Replace all this with the real thing!" Tetsuo is at a loss and one day meets Emi who works at the gallery. She endures the gallery owner of an amorous artist and aspires to be a painter. Tetsuo learns from her that a painting of Cezanne with a market value of 600 million yen has been sold to a Japanese person, and contacts the owner, Domon, the president of Teijin Bank. Inspire the desires of collection enthusiasts and imitation art dealers, and come up with a large-scale money game that opens up ambitions!

A man Tetsuo (Kosuke Toyohara) met at a racetrack offered him a job of 100,000 yen per diem, and although he was suspicious, he was urged by the amount of money and decided to take over. What's more, all he has to do is carry a huge cardboard box to the man's apartment. The contents of the cardboard are 1 billion yen in cash. It is said that this will be used to make a back loan. In front of the apartment, men line up for the money. Who on earth is Ginji Hirai and what is his motive? And what kind of fate will Tetsuo be involved in from now on ...?

Yosuke, un homme d'une quarantaine d'années que sa femme vient de quitter et qui ne supporte plus son travail, se rend, sur les conseils d'un vieux vagabond, dans une maison particulière, située au coeur d'un village de la péninsule de Noto, et d'où l'on peut apercevoir un pont rouge. Dans cette demeure se trouve une jarre qui contiendrait une statue de Bouddha en or, volée dans un temple à Kyoto par ce vieux vagabond.Yosuke ne trouve pas la jarre mais fait la connaissance de Saeko, une femme étrange et kleptomane. Celle-ci a le pouvoir de faire s'épanouir les fleurs en dehors des saisons et de faire venir les poissons par l'eau qu'elle fait jaillir de son corps lorsqu'elle éprouve le plaisir charnel.

Il y a 3000 ans, la planète Denzi fut dévastée par le clan Vader. Mais l'île Denziland fut envoyée sur Terre avec à son bord, un chien-robot nommé IC. Un jour l'ordinateur de Denziland détecta la présence du clan Vader sur Terre, et réveilla IC. Le chien-robot partit alors en quête de cinq personnes, afin de former une équipe chargée de lutter contre le clan Vader...

The show is based on the Ogiri style of rakugo, a form of traditional Japanese storytelling. The ogiri system sees a host put questions to a panel of fellow rakugo storytellers who must produce a funny or witty response. Shoten's format thus sees the host—currently Shunpūtei Shōta—pose questions to six storytellers (known as "ogiri members") seated left to right (as the audience sees them) as follows: San'yūtei Koyūza (sky-blue kimono), San'yūtei Kōraku (pink kimono), Hayashiya Kikuo (yellow kimono), Hayashiya Sanpei II (beige kimono), San'yūtei Enraku VI (purple kimono), Hayashiya Taihei (orange kimono).
