Mariana, a talkative and fun young woman, has the opportunity to be sent to university thanks to the charity of a benefactor who sponsors the city's municipal orphanage where she has lived all her life and is an assistant to the institution.

Roger is forced by his mother to take care of his Nonno, Augusto, who suffers from senile dementia. Nonno's childish behavior, full of nonsense and occurrences, will put Roger through a desperate situation until his family returns.
