Au Paraguay de nos jours, Victor a dix-sept ans et survit comme il peut en effectuant quelques livraisons avec sa brouette, dans un marché couvert. Un vendredi soir, il accepte une proposition inhabituelle contre de l’argent : livrer sept boîtes – dont il ne sait rien du contenu – en échange de la moitié d’un billet de cent dollars. L’autre moitié du billet déchiré ne lui sera remise qu’après la mission terminée. Mais ce qui ne devait être qu’une simple livraison se transforme rapidement en course-poursuite haletante à laquelle Victor se trouve fatalement mêlé, mais dont il ignore tout…

Los Buscadores tells the story of Manu, a young paperboy who lives in the Chacarita neighborhood. He receives an old map, a gift from his grandfather, and embarks on the adventure of finding a treasure called "Plata Yvyguy", gold and jewels buried by families in Paraguay's 1864-70 War of the Triple Alianza.

Rafael is the oldest brother of a close family belonging to generation of Olimpia Soccer club fans, he is in charge of managing the family's mini market. Due to his brothers mistake, he receives an eviction notice from the bank, and decides to pose as a lawyer to solve the case.
