The story is of a quirky mother and son who live in a modern Japanese, urban setting. The mother Kyoko has been long feeding human meat to her introverted teenage son, Mitsuo, who can now tell the sex and nationality of the meat he is eating. One day at the supermarket, Kyoko finds herself picking up the wallet of another housewife, Kanno. Kanno urges Kyoko to accept a token of gratitude but Kyoko declines. Kanno finds the stubborn refusal disturbing.

The urban legend about the blog which brings tragedy and fear. Shy and inner minded high schoolgirl Hitomi starts her blog with fake name. She writes and jokes about her school and friends, but whoever name is written on the blog encounters terrifying tragedy, even death.

C’est une journée ordinaire qui commence pour Shun Takahata, dont la vie est si banale qu’il s’est mis à la trouver ennuyeuse. Ce lycéen de 16 ans, plutôt discret, voit son quotidien paisible voler en éclats en même temps que la tête de son prof, en plein milieu du cours ! Lui et ses camarades de classe se retrouvent soudain otages du jeu sanglant mené par une étrange figurine... Il va lui falloir survivre ! Mais cette épreuve est-elle une punition divine, ou un cadeau ?

Ikki Igarashi, Vice et Hiromi Kadota sont à la poursuite d’un Deadman. Leur course les mène dans une pension isolée tenue par la jeune et belle Suzu Saionji. Ils découvrent que l’établissement abrite tout un tas de pensionnaires et d’employés et l’un d’entre eux pourrait être le Deadman recherché…
