Tore Andersson is a depressed 43 year old sport journalist living in Stockholm. His girlfriend has left him so he decides to take a vacation in Cyprus.

The documentary "The Greek Maria Callas", directed by Tassos Psarras, broadcast by ERT1 on Saturday, September 23, 2017, at 13:20, focuses on the Greek period of Callas and the visits to Greece from 1957 until her death .

In Cyprus, an EOKA fighter (against the British Administration), Kyriakoulis, is imprisoned by the British. His comrades kidnap the son of a friend of the British Administrator in retaliation. Plans to help Kyriakoulis escape fails and the British hang him. Kyriakoulis mother intervenes magnanimously and the fighters free their prisoner.
