Wasim, Riaz et Munawar, trois jeunes immigrés qui ont grandi dans la banlieue d'Oslo, tombent dans le petit banditisme par ennui de l'école. Ils sont rapidement recrutés par un gang géré par les frères Sadiq et Khalid. Au fil du temps, les petits larcins deviennent trafics de drogue, violence, et meurtres.

Omar is a mid-level gangster in Oslo. A family secret is revealed when his "dead" sister isn't dead at all. Omar is ordered to find her. Joining him is his cousin and fellow gangster Khuram, and together they face an unknown Norway where his sister Amina has lead a secret and quite successful life.

The series is about police investigators in Greenland police and the assignments they receive. Every day they face new challenges that affect them differently. These consist of inspector Jan Erik Holm, Hassan Mohammed Arif Osman, Trond Olsen and Holms ex-wife Cecilie Melvold. The series paints a somewhat grim picture of Oslo, it is a place where no one is safe, where nobody is above threats and blackmail. Even policemen are subjected to harassment.
