Iron Idem est un journaliste et un animateur télé adulé par le public qui reconnaît en lui un homme indépendant, courageux, et proche du peuple. Lorsque les martiens descendent sur Terre, sa grande liberté de ton est muselée par les autorités et par le patron de la chaîne qui lui impose malgré ses convictions d'écrire des textes allant dans le sens de ce qui demeure en réalité une invasion. Opprimé, le peuple n'a qu'une seule alternative : celle d'accepter les nouvelles règles en vigueur. La présence des extraterrestres vampirise les médias, ainsi que les autorités dont la plus commune des représentations, la Police, flirte avec l'ennemi d'un peuple qui doit accepter la présence de l'intrus en lui donnant son propre sang.

World War II. The Germans enter Sosnowiec, which complicates the relationship between the three friendly children.

Tadeusz Krzakoski, the director of a failing state-owned company, is married with problems. His mistress, the daughter of a Communist party bigwig, says she's pregnant and Tadeusz knows he'll have to marry her to save his reputation and his job. But divorce is never simple and Bareja's screwball comedies are never boring.

As a result of a mistake, the siblings change roles and go on vacation somewhere else than planned. The boy goes to his aunt and cousins, the girl goes to her uncle and cousins. To save her brother, the sister pretends to be a boy and he, left with no choice, pretends to be a girl.

Kaziuk, un paysan têtu, et sa femme enceinte vivent dans un village reculé de Pologne, épargné par la civilisation. Mais un fonctionnaire vient annoncer l'arrivée prochaine de l'électricité et qu'une nouvelle institutrice enseignera bientôt dans l'école du village. Une fois installée, celle-ci attise les fantasmes de Kaziuk qui, frustré, commet un acte sacrilège ...

A story of a dropout out of a succesful career and a loving family. He goes to a local railroad station, then checks into a hotel and refuses to leave despite visits by a psychiatrist and his own son. He watches people daily at the station. A tv reporter is trying to come up with a story which would help him to save his job. He likes to chase women and the dropout's wife is one of his targets. He gets interested in the story of her husband and tries to make a program about mysterious individual. Once the tv crew arrives to the scene, the subject tries to hide and ends up on the roof of the station, where he catches a glimpse of sunshine - the "smaller sky" - before stepping onto a glass roof and falling to his death.

Children of the Leśniewski family decide to help their mother in daily chores so she can have more time for herself.
