With Siao-lu’s classmate Yu-Tin’s (played by Gigi Lin) help Siao-lu finds coach Chang who trains disabled player. Siao-lu happens to know coach Chang is Jie’s father. Even though she wants to help them to reconcile, she couldn’t find a way. On the other hand, she has her own thinking towards her dream. On her 20 years’ old birthday, she announces her plan of receiving training to her family. Although her mother is against it, with her sister’s help, Xiao-Lu finally convinces her mother with doctor’s approval; her mother approves her request reluctantly Flinging into the training completely, Siao-lu doesn’t pay attention to the change of her body condition. On the eve of the competition, fate forces Siao-lu to compete with time. Can Siao-lu accomplish her dream? Can Jie and Coach Chang reconcile? Can Siao-lu complete the training and the competition with her love and courage in her heart ?

Due to a combination of bad writing, unnecessary and distracting directorial gimmicks (split screens, black & white, slow motion, etc.) and very inept subtitling, "West Down Girls" is almost completely impossible to follow, but I think it has something to do with the rivalry between two girls who are members of opposing street gangs, and the arrival on the scene of a third girl who is the childhood friend of one of them and the sister of the other. The (very few) action scenes are a complete mess. The film is basically an over-the-top melodrama and makes very little sense. I was too frustrated to even enjoy the beauty of Cheryl Yang and Annie Wu.

Chia Le, a rich 'barbie girl', finally finds her hero, who suddenly appears and blocks a truck for her. However, he doesn't love her back. To get closer to him, Chia Le starts working in the same company as him, while her childhood friend, Bao Lung, is secretly in love with her.

Qi Luo est une fille assez timide et solitaire qui passe son temps à dessiner. Ling est un grand dragueur très populaire et rebelle. Bien que tout les sépare, ils vont être attirés l'un par l'autre et ils essaieront de faire face à leur passé douloureux qui les hante.

Yan Da Feng est un homme riche, arrogant et méchant. Son grand-père souhaite le voir épouser Xie Fu An, une jeune fille ordinaire vivant seule avec son frère depuis la mort de leurs parents. Sa grand-mère lui a enseigné la médecine des plantes, ce qui lui permet de gagner un peu d'argent. Da Feng, qui ne peut se résoudre à ce mariage, envoie un tueur à gages afin de se débarrasser d'elle.
