The events of this film, spanning from the very first moments after the Occupation until the first years of the 1980s. In those years, which are crucial for Greek History, the adventurous path of a poor family is illustrated, that’s slowly going to end up filthy rich. The members of the aforesaid family found out the hard way, that money cannot buy happiness.

In the small, closed community of a provincial town, Magda tries to maintain a balance within a family facing many serious problems. The families apparently normal, bourgeois, every-day life will crack open, bringing to the surface hatred and passions of the kind that lie well-hidden in the mists of the nearby lake. An intense plot and a totally unexpected ending make up this film, which features characters who are vulnerable, innocent and ordinary, but who become ruthless and callous, worrying only about protecting their financial resources. The series evolves during a laid-back summer at a camping in Peloponesse, Greece. Takis is an entrepreneur who sets up and manages a campsite on a picturesque coast of the Peloponesse. He staffs the campsite with locals, including his cousin Mitsos who is a horse breeder and works as the riding instructor of the campsite. The series details the short-lived relations and interactions between campsite staff and guests, and especially the summer love of Mitsos with Samantha–an English tourist.
