Au cours d’un sommet rassemblant l’ensemble des chefs d’état latino-américains dans un hôtel isolé de la Cordillère des Andes, Hernán Blanco, le président argentin, est rattrapé par une affaire de corruption impliquant sa fille. Alors qu’il se démène pour échapper au scandale qui menace sa carrière et sa famille, il doit aussi se battre pour conclure un accord primordial pour son pays.

Buenos Aires Province, a summer in the 30's. Mateo, an ex convict anarchist, travels around the Pampa in his old truck, carrying stolen hens and the illusion of finding his lost rooster, The King, which, he hopes, will lead him to glory at the cockfights. Fate faces him with Aurelia and Carmelo, two siblings in search for their father. Wandering, uncertain about his final destination, Mateo decides to give them a ride southbound.

The misuse of an innocent toy will trigger a family tragedy surrounded by death and despair. Carlos will try to save his girlfriend's family from a spiral of tragedy and death before it is too late.
