Popular young stage actor Katagiri suddenly quits his leading stage and disappears. He didn't say the reason so surrounding people confuse. Kiyoshi who admired Katagiri and was going to be on stage with him, follows after him and goes to his home Okinawa. There was a man who says he is Katagiri's brother, Katagiri's brother-in-law and a lady who says she is Katagiri's wife.

When the clock in the school building strikes midnight, the campus will become "a school for yokais" that cannot be seen with human eyes. Tanaka Kazuo is a human high school student with no friends who is bullied by his classmates. He feels miserable and lonely, believing that he doesn't belongs anywhere. However eveything changes when he discovers the existence of the yokai realm. Hoping to make some friends and to start a new life, he enrolls himself in the school and lies saying that he is a very rare mixed-race yokai called "Tanaka Ichiotoko", despiste the fact that he looks like an ordinary human being. Tanaka's new supernatural classmates are full of surprises, and can't help but suspect of his true nature.

C'est quasiment la guerre entre les lycées Tonko et Sanjo. Situés l'un à côté de l'autre, ils fonctionnent pourtant complètement différemment. Tonko est un lycéen pour garçons, fondé sur la doctrine zen et obtenant des résultats scolaires médiocres, alors que Sanjo est un établissement catholique pour filles qui a une plutôt bonne réputation. Seulement voilà, baisse de la natalité et crise économique obligent, une fusion entre les deux écoles, vieux serpent de mer jamais concrétisé jusqu'alors, est de plus en plus d'actualité. Malgré leurs dissensions, les deux directions se mettent finalement d'accord pour effectuer un test. Le professeur Hara Heisuke et quelques élèves de Tonko sont intégrés à une classe de Sanjo tandis que la professeure Hachiya Risa et la moitié de sa classe font le chemin inverse afin de vérifier si une cohabitation est possible.

Ikeda Yoshimi, a 28-year-old editor of a literary magazine who loves otome games and loves good-looking guys, will be in charge of a gourmet magazine even though she is not good at eating with ultra-small meals. However, she notices that when she eats with good-looking men, her appetite increases, and she pursues "good-looking rice" to improve her small meals.

Yosuke is a middle aged businessman who has a wife and two kids; wife is a teacher, his son a job-hunting student, and his daughter has a good job. His family is looking forward to buying a new house as Yosuke is about to be promoted soon. But one day, he is forced to leave the company because of a gossip con set up by his colleague! He loses his job but he cannot tell that to his family. At the same time his wife and daughter are also facing problems at their work, both thinking to quit because dad’s job is secured. When they find out dad left the company, can they support him or...?

Tatsuya Yoigoshi était un joueur de football star connu sous le nom de "Yoigoshi l'imparable", mais lorsqu'il est entré au lycée, il a cessé toute activité sportive. À présent, il a pourtant été invité à rejoindre une drôle de discipline. Dans ce sport par équipe qui s’apparente à un mélange de course et de sport de combat, il faut empêcher l’adversaire d’envahir son terrain. Cette pratique s’appelle… Kabaddi !
