Although Ayu has been honest, Sutra is continuously haunted by the fact that Ayu was not a virgin when they married, even after five years of marriage. As a result, Sutra always faces problems in having sex with his wife. Then when he finds out that Ayu met her old friend, Manaseh, Sutra becomes increasingly suspicious and his mental state grows unstable. He himself has a relationship with Rhoda Darsono, who has a very possessive nature. This disturbs Sutra, who only wants to have fun with her. Two doctors, Robert and Siska, are assigned to a village in the area of Bromo but their presence creates conflict. The villagers, who normally consult a shaman for their health issues, are not used to modern medical doctors. The tension tises when a patient who used to be treated by shaman, dies and there’s nothing that Robert can do. Meanwhile, Siska suffers an unexplainable illness and also dies. Strange illnesses then start to emerge in surrounding villages. Finally, the doctor and the shaman help each other. When the shaman is dying, the doctor treats him.

However, soon a mask becomes his true self, and he becomes a true soldier and patriot.

Iwan, a high school student, loses his bajaj-driver father because the jeep of Dance Lintang, a famous singer, runs him down. Iwan’s pregnant mother has to work hard. Iwan has been singing on the streets for money, and now he gets help from his younger siblings who sell newspapers. But his mother passes away when she gives birth to her last child so Iwan vows to raise his siblings. But when he cannot afford it, he puts his siblings in the orphanage. Then when his girlfriend Tia yells at him for doing that, he instinctively runs off with his siblings. He is imprisoned as a result but a journalist, Miftah, who knows his talent, bails him out. Iwan decides to quit school and Miftah manages to record him. Dance is furious when he hears that Iwan is making a record. He approaches the producer and destroys the recording tape. Then Dance gets arrested for narcotics while Iwan’s record is a major hit, so he brings his siblings home from the orphanage.
