The story explores his inner world, the traumas he experiences, and the void created by the loss of national values, presenting it all to the audience.

Inspired by Anton Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard, the film follows a prodigal son who returns after 12 years. His reappearance at the family home in rural Azerbaijan significantly alters their way of life.

Alik gets involved, but soon discovers the situation is more complicated that he first believed.
