The film is a biographical true story about life of Imadaddin Nasimi, well known throughout the East for his school of philosophy and thought, poems and promotion of moral values in a feudal society. During the 14th-15th centuries, when Azerbaijan was a stage for warring powers and civil wars, Nasimi was the only poet committed to promotion of humanism and moral values inflicting criticism on the ruling system and the society itself. For his intruding role in feudal regimes, Nasimi lived a complex and tragic life.

In search of housing, a student stumbles upon an advertisement for renting an apartment at a very reasonable fee—and promptly agrees with a woman who recently laid her son to rest, complying with all her conditions. The young man settles into the apartment and gradually becomes a witness to inexplicable mystical phenomena.

A film about time and timelessness, about personality and facelessness, about the need for change and the desire to get used to what is - The drama of a man whose fate was predetermined at the moment of birth. "Chekist orphan" - he was obliged to go through his terrible path and could not go through it. He became what he became - a KGB colonel.

The movie is based on Azerbaijani folk tale "Malikmammad and the Three Princes".

The film is about man falling in love with young girl and his wish to be young too.

Based on real events, telling about the murder and investigation of the head of the special department Shamsi Rahimov. The events are presented against the political background of 1994-1995 - these are the October, March rebellions of the Javadov brothers and everything related to the history of Azerbaijan in this period of time.
