Sakura Ueno has recently quit her job and decided to work temporarily in a nursery school at a friend's request. There she meets a whole lot of cute kids including a girl named Ai. Shindo, the girl's father, often comes to pick her up late after school. Seeing him pick up his daughter triggers a memory of her own father, following this, changes happen…

Kondo, a college dropout, is approached by a friend "Suzuki". Suzuki offers Kondo to work as an Art Festical Staff in an island abroad and for a period of time. To apply he needs to meet a girl named Kyoko. Suzuki will introduce them together within a week. Few days later, Kondo meets an old friend, Yano. He is happy to meet Yano again after quite a time and since they had left their hometown. Yano acts strange, though. "Shit! Come with me!" Yano suddenly starts running. Some Yakuza rush to catch him. Puzzled by this, Kondo escapes with him. The number of Yakuzas is increasing. Can these two run away from this city?

Malgré un début de carrière d’écrivain prometteur, Ryota accumule les désillusions. Divorcé de Kyoko, il gaspille le peu d’argent que lui rapporte son travail de détective privé en jouant aux courses, jusqu’à ne plus pouvoir payer la pension alimentaire de son fils de 11 ans, Shingo. A présent, Ryota tente de regagner la confiance des siens et de se faire une place dans la vie de son fils. Cela semble bien mal parti jusqu’au jour où un typhon contraint toute la famille à passer une nuit ensemble…
