Un immeuble résidentiel Hongkongais est l’objet d’étranges manifestations surnaturelles. Leurs sources, c'est le fantôme d'une grand mêre qui cherche à se venger. Elle prend possession de l’enfant du couple responsable de sa mort pour cela mais, au moment ou elle est sur le point d’assouvir sa vengeance, un mystérieux homme parvient à l’arrêter. Cet étrange personnage se nomme Léon (Stephen Chow) et est un chasseur de fantômes (quand il n’est pas à l’asile psychiatrique). Impressionné par ses incontestables capacités et concerné par le fait que ses agissements risquent de rameuter d’autres fantômes, l’équipe de vigiles de l’immeuble accepte d’apprendre à combattre les manifestations de l’au delà sous sa tutelle.

Two Hong Kong police detectives seek a serial killer.

Michael Chan plays Charlie Chan, a boxer who goes to Japan to take on a local hotshot in the ring. A gang of yakuzas pressure him to take a dive, but Charlie beats his opponent senseless instead, resulting in a life-or-death chase in which Charlie and his coach try to escape from the angry gangsters. They are spared by the yakuza boss Yakoda, and their eagerness to impress him leads them to pretend that they are the leaders of an influential triad organization known as the Marlboro Gang. That gang doesn't really exist, and their ruse only leads them to further endangerment after Yakoda is murdered by one of his employees. Yakoda's widow sends their daughter (who speaks Cantonese) to Hong Kong so that she won't be next on the hit list, and Charlie -- still pretending to be a powerful triad gangster -- agrees to protect her. He and his friends must save the girl from assassination attempts and kidnapping along the way, as well as coming to the rescue of Yakoda's widow.

Siu-Fung (Lydia Sum), an owner of a pizzeria, unexpectedly succumbs to a heart attack. However, her spirit was unable to cross over to the other side, thus, she resurrects into the body of a young woman (Maggie Cheung). Afterward, she reunites with her family and tries to convince them that she is alive. Avec Fury, c'est l'occasion de retrouver ce bon vieux Michael Wong qui ici ne retrouve plus ses rôles habituels d'officier de police (un peu à la manière de Danny Lee) mais plutôt celui d'un truand jouant dans le trafic de faux billets. Avec ses deux meilleurs amis, ces fous furieux vont bien sûr finir par s'entre-tuer.
