Arman is about to turn 18. He was adopted as a baby by Jasna and Senad, who were unable to have children of their own. However, four years after the adoption, Jasna gives birth to Dado. Throughout his life, Arman has had a hard time coping with being an adopted child. Full of explosive energy, he constantly gets in trouble together with his schoolmates. Despite being very intelligent, he is labelled as a problem child. The only place he feels safe and loved is with Jasna’s parents. At the same time, Arman does all he can to save Dado from self-destructing. However, despite everything he does to support his brother, his parents interpret Arman’s involvement incorrectly, and blame him for every trouble with Dado.

When you are away from an environment which evokes intense memories, especially if those are memories from your childhood, your imagination makes that environment larger and more beautiful. When you return to the place you craved for, you are often disappointed - that room is not all that nice and big, that street is empty or rainy, etc.

After finding out he owes money for college tuition, a small-time drug dealer and "perpetual student" decides to get his hands on a larger quantity of narcotics, not knowing that circumstances will place him in direct contact with the police.

Soon after, Meri realizes she is stuck in a circle of provincial rules and expectations and a complex relationship with her ambitious mother and spoiled younger brother. Her hope to get the custody of her daughter wanes from day to day because she has no chance of finding a permanent job. The only thing that makes her happy, but also makes everyone else look down on her, is participation in an audition for a film role in her neighborhood.
