Kwon Hyeong-joon

Duk-bae is a seasoned Dasiraegi performer who puts on a stage play-like ritual that ushers the dead into the next life and comforts the bereaved family. His estranged daughter Su-nam comes back home with her child Flower when she hears of her grandmother’s passing after leaving Jindo 20 years ago. Flower is initially scared of her grandfather, but Duk-bae soon opens his heart to the little girl. Su-nam’s trauma kicks in whenever she hears cicadas' crying that she heard when she witnessed her mother committing suicide as a child. Finally, Duk-bae begins the last Dasiraegi of his life to save Su-nam who has been driven to the cliff of life without any hope.

Commissioned by South Korea's National Human Rights Commission, If You Were Me is an innovative omnibus film project to promote tolerance and human rights and shed light on the hardships disadvantaged people face in Korea. After the success of the first anthology, a second series, If You Were Me 2, was released this year. Five notable Korean directors - Park Kyung Hee (A Smile), Ryoo Seung Wan (Crying Fist), Jung Ji Woo, Jang Jin (Guns & Talks), and Kim Dong Won - participated in the second installment, creating shorts on human rights issues of their choosing.

In order to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Korean Film Academy, 20 of the academy's former students (who are respected director's today) were invited to shoot an omnibus movie consisting of 20 short films. Overall this work was very well received by the critiques at the 17th Tokyo International Film Festival. Films include Under a Big Tree, Sutda, Twenty Millimeter Thick, Innocence, *?!#@$ Up Shoes, Twenty Questions, The Twenty's Law, To the 21st, Pass Me and Alone Together.

Kang Hyeon-soo est un trader autodidacte sans emploi. Ses qualifications lui valent s'être impliqué dans une énorme escroquerie menée sur les marchés boursiers par un truand souhaitant se devenir un nabab financier.

Mu Jin Hyeok est un policier. Trois ans après le meurtre de sa femme par un tueur en série, survenu alors qu'il était en mission, il est toujours rongé par la culpabilité et la colère de savoir le tueur en liberté. Kang Gwon Ju est agent de police au centre d'appel du numéro d'urgence 112. Son père, officier de police, a été tué en mission, à la suite d'un appel reçu par sa fille, par le même tueur en série. De retour des États-Unis où elle vient d'achever des études de profileur criminel spécialisé dans les voix, elle crée l'équipe "Golden Time", chargée d'intervenir dans les 10 minutes après la réception d'un appel. Jin Hyeok devient le leader de la "Golden Time team" et ensemble, ils vont s'employer à empêcher des meurtres, tout en recherchant le tueur en série responsable de la mort de leurs proches.

Tentés par un prix alléchant en cas de victoire malheureusement, des centaines de joueurs désargentés acceptent de s'affronter lors de jeux pour enfants aux enjeux mortels.
