Koharu is a dull high school girl who is always alone. Her only hobby is making plastic models. One day, Koharu stops by a mysterious antique shop and purchases a plastic model gun and a toy figure named Alice. After spending the entire night assembling the gun, Koharu wakes up and witnesses bullets flying everywhere in school. She then meets Alice who moves like a human and tells her to get ready for a survival battle called "Girl Gun Fight", where she has to attack her schoolmates with a gun.

The School of Water Business is a manga series created by Shinobu Inokuma, the author of Salad Days. It is based on a novel by Hikaru Murozumi, and is set in a fictional trade-school—that focuses on the mizu shōbai—located in the Kabukichō district of Shinjuku, Tokyo. The school's focus is to give students their last chance in the school system. Classes are divided into occupations such as hostesses, hosts, "managers", "geibaa" and, finally, "soapgirls". The series is mostly a romantic comedy but also mixes in many positive messages about life, work, friendship, and other topics. The series has a sequel, 都立水商！2, with one volume published as of March 2012. Oda Mari, now a teacher at the high school, replaces Keisuke Tanabe as the focus character.

The day before Tomoki’s wedding day, he is falsely accused of sexual harassment. Due to the false accusation, he loses his job and his fiance leaves him. Tomoki decides to kill himself. While standing on the ledge of a rooftop building, he sees a woman running toward him and screaming. She is attacked by a man with a knife. Tomoki becomes involved and gets stabbed by the man, but it turns out the attack was a staged event and Tomoki was not really stabbed. Tomoki learns that the staged event is called "enijya," which takes place upon a client's request. This is the first time he hears of eniya. Tomoki decides to hire Aika to take revenge on people who falsely accused him of sexual harassment.

The hosts explore different neighborhoods and izakayas, discussing various snacks and drinks. They share interesting trivia about the food and beverages, often accompanied by lively conversations with female guests and experts.

Aya Nakayama (Manami Higa) is a 32-year-old housewife and she has been happily married for 2 years. To other people, Aya Nakayama and her husband look like the perfect married couple. One day, Aya Nakayama sees a message from a strange woman on her husband’s cellphone. She wonders if her husband is having an affair. She also remembers that she and her husband have not been intimate in the last two months. Aya Nakayama begins to find other evidence of her husband having an affair.
