Nobumasa Tsuboi (Yo Oizumi) runs a small factory in a small town. He has a daughter Yoshimi Tsuboi (Riko Fukumoto) who suffers from a congenital heart disease. A doctor tells Nobumasa Tsuboi that his daughter will only live for about 10 more years. Nobumasa Tsuboi is devastated that his daughter won't live past the ago of 20. Nobumasa Tsuboi and his wife Yoko Tsuboi (Miho Kanno) cannot accept the diagnosis. Even though he has no medical knowledge or experience, Nobumasa Tsuboi begins to study about artificial hearts.

The movie is about the endless miracles during the motorcycle trip of Dan, Tettsu, and Chiharu, the Sannō Rengōkai trio (also known as DTC).

The "Lion's House" is the name of a hospice located on a beautiful island. The people who live there are people with a short life expectancy. Shizuku, a 29-year-old who was told how long she had to live at a young age, comes to live there. She feels a little regretful over not being able to improve her relationship with her family before coming. At the "Lion's House", snack time is a time where the residents are allowed to request a snack from their memories but Shizuku is unable to choose. The chief editor of a woman’s magazine talks to Yumi Adachi about a new idea for the magazine. Their plan revolves around a person who disposes of stuff and lives more comfortably. According to their plan, Yumi Adachi decides to throw away various items one by one. On that night, Yumi Adachi falls asleep as usual, but she has an unusual dream.

One day Mio attends a middle school reunion and is reunited with her first love, Shuichi. Her love is rekindled when the guy approaches her, but they get caught up in an incident where members of the reunion start dying one after another.
