Get ready for the fifth volume of an incredible gay short film series! Male Shorts: International V5 features four brand-new short films focusing on gay, bi and generally curious men from around the globe. Iceberg takes place in Rio de Janeiro during the pandemic and follows two men who are haunted by the same mysterious spirit which seems to inhabit their plumbing. In Xavier, a young man uses his cell phone to come out to the world, his father and his best friend and crush all at once. The visually inventive Dreams concerns a documentary filmmaker who with his camera so that he can capture the dreams he has at night. Finally, It's Just Another Day follows Gabriele, who is torn between taking care of his sick father or running away to Rome with the man he loves. It's the second wave of the COVID pandemic in Rio de Janeiro. There's no water in Madá's old mansion, a sewing cooperative where sheltered LGBTQI+ young people live and work. Renê, one of the residents, paints the anguish of a mysterious spirit that haunts the shelter through the plumbing. Across town, a loner middle-aged plumber, Ismael, is tormented by the same curse.

Brésil, aujourd’hui. Mariana, 21 ans, vit dans un monde où elle doit être une femme pieuse et parfaite. Pour résister à la tentation, elle s’attelle à contrôler tout et tout le monde. La nuit tombée, elle se réunit avec son gang de filles et, ensemble, cachées derrière des masques, elles chassent et lynchent celles qui ont dévié du droit chemin. Mais au sein du groupe, l’envie de crier devient chaque jour plus forte.

The 1990s marked the success of the boy-band Chocante. Twenty years later, the group has disbanded and the members took different paths in life. The old colleagues gather for an unexpected event, the death of one of the group members.
