It consists of music videos interspersed with snippets from educational films, as well as exclusive footage shot by Peter Christopherson including antics by Nine Inch Nails and their tour guests: Marilyn Manson, Jim Rose Circus and David Bowie. Originally scheduled to be released on DVD in 2004, the disc appeared on internet torrent sites in 2006, including behind-the-scenes footage of the "Closer" video with commentary by Mark Romanek. Fans speculate that Reznor may have been the source of this leak.

Dec 21, 1999December 15, 1999 - New York, NY - nine inch nails have announced that their first-ever concert television special will air exclusively on MTV on Tuesday, December 21st at 11:00pm (ET/PT). The 30-minute television event will provide fans with the first televised peek at the band's sold-out, critically lauded European "Fragility" tour. The footage for the special has been culled from shows in Barcelona, Milan, Munich, Vienna, Berlin, Copenhagen, Paris, Dusseldorf, Tilburg and London, and was shot by both fans - picked randomly from the crowd - and professional cameramen.

En 2016, l'espace aérien terrien est envahi de vaisseaux extraterrestres. Ces aliens, qui préfèrent rester dans l'ombre, assurent être venus en paix pour aider les humains à évoluer et atteindre leur âge d'or. Ils choisissent un modeste fermier de l'Amérique profonde pour servir d'intermédiaire entre leur peuple et les hommes. Pour prouver leur bonne foi, ils mettent fin aux guerres, aux maladies et à la famine. Cette intrusion n'est pas forcément bien vécue par l'ensemble de la population terrienne. Certains ont du mal à faire confiance et s'interrogent : quelle peut bien être la motivation de ces étrangers ? Qu'attendent-ils en retour ? Et quand révèleront-ils leur vrai visage ?

André Hayes et Donovan « Van » Ray sont tous deux inspecteurs de police. Lors d'une mission, Hayes se fait tuer.
Le lieutenant Wilhelmina « Billie » Chambers, qui est également le chef de l'équipe, envoie Van Ray dans une unité spéciale. Il devra infiltrer les réseaux criminels les plus dangereux de Los Angeles et aura comme coéquipier Deacon "Deaq" Hayes, le frère cadet d'André.
Ils ont été tous les deux choisis pour leur passé houleux qui leur confère une grande connaissance des milieux de gangsters. Ils y ont encore des relations.Ils travaillent dans la « Confiserie » (the Candy-Shop) où leurs plaques de police sont gardées sous coffre. Ils ont à leur disposition de très gros moyens, voitures haut de gamme, moto, diamants, argent. Le mot d'ordre de la Confiserie est : "Tout ce que l'on saisit, on le garde. Tout ce que l'on garde, on l'utilise".
