Satomi leaves her job after a bad break up and on the way home she she falls in love with a Shiba Inu puppy, Ku-chan. She stay at home for a bit but when she tries to return to work, the puppy cries all day. Ku-chan is then diagnosed with separation anxiety at the vet.

A personal novel-like piece that tries to leave a "record" of the restaurant in the past, triggered by the closing of a western restaurant in Dojima, Osaka, which is a restaurant of the director's own memories. Koichi Sato plays the role of a chef who has accumulated history with the restaurant for 35 years.

In the end of Meiji era, Takei Chiyo was born in a poor family in Osaka, and was sent to a theatre tea room as a servant when she was 9 years old. The 95th NHK Asadora is about Sumire, a girl born in the uptown of Kobe in the early Showa period. In the wake of wartime devastation, she works hard toward making children's clothes for a living, and later establishes a first-ever children's goods store in Japan. -- NHK

The twin girls Tajima Megumi and Ichijo Nozomi was separated at birth after their parents had divorced. Years later they meet each other. Both of them have a career within the entertainment industry. Megumi who lives in Matsue, Shimane sings in the band Shijimijiru, and Nozomi is a maiko, an apprentice geisha in Kyoto.
