Sep 30, 2012The main part of the film takes place by the legendary Lethe River on New Zealand’s wild and wondrous South Island. Back in 1988, one of the most iconic fly fishers of our time, Lars Lenth, spent three months exploring the fabled river and fishing for its abnormally large trout. At night, he would sit down in a remote cabin and write down his experiences in a journal. Nearly 25 years later, the young trout bum Rolf Nylinder looses his way in the wilderness near Lethe. By chance, he finds the long-lost journal, full of insights about the very soul of fly fishing. Along with Rolf on the trip is documentarist Peter Christensen, filming their mostly failing attempts to catch trout, and Rolf’s ever-growing interest in the wisdom of the journal. The old book becomes a moral compass for Rolf, who gradually becomes more and more obsessed by the poetic adventures Lenth wrote down in a dreamy past. Destiny forces the two fly fishers together, but what will happen when their worlds collide?

Oct 19, 2004Team Antonsen became one of the great comedy success stories of all time for Norwegian broadcaster NRK, which in the end gave comedians Atle Antonsen, Bård Tufte Johansen, Harald Eia and Kristopher Schau the opportunity to stage an arena show at Oslo Spektrum. Over two sold out nights they performed for more than 14.000 people, a feat never before accomplished by comedians hailing from Norway. The show was very well received by the Norwegian press.

Linhave replaced Linn Skåber from the autumn of 2013. Dec 03, 2021Skavlan is a Norwegian-Swedish television talk show hosted by Norwegian journalist Fredrik Skavlan. It premiered in Sweden on Sveriges Television in January 2009, and the first guests to appear on the show were former Prime Minister of Sweden Göran Persson and his wife Anitra Steen. On 8 May 2009, it was announced that Skavlan had been renewed for a second season. It was also announced that the show would no longer only be produced by SVT in Sweden; Skavlan would now be partly produced in Norway by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. The first twelve episodes of Skavlan's second season were produced by SVT in Sweden, and the remaining twelve by NRK in Norway.
Skavlan speaks Norwegian and his dialog is therefore subtitled in Swedish in Sweden, even though the two languages are quite similar and mutually intelligible. If the persons being interviewed by Skavlan are Swedish, he often tells them to let him know if they do not understand what he is saying. Swedish novelist Jan Guillou has criticized SVT for subtitling the program, stating "there is no need for that. If the host had been Danish, subtitling would have been necessary, but with a Norwegian host it does not make any sense."

The show consisted of four well-known comedians: Atle Antonsen, Harald Eia, Bård Tufte Johansen and Kristopher Schau performing various sketches. The show typically made fun of spoken nynorsk and sami, as well as regional dialects from all over Norway—most commonly from Northern Norway and the cities of Bergen and Trondheim. Celebrities often appeared on the show—among others famous writer Anne Holt and accomplished singer Bertine Zetlitz. Team Antonsen had an average viewer-rating of over 700 000 viewers, a high figure for a late-night TV show in a country with 4.6 million people.
The show also spawned a stage comedy show called Team Antonsen Live: One Night Only, which was performed in Oslo Spektrum in May 2004. The comedians originally only planned one showing, but when tickets sold out they decided on performing one more, called Team Antonsen Live: One More Night Only.
The series won several Norwegian comedy awards, most notably the 2004 Gullruten for best humor show, Komiprisen for best show, as well as Komiprisen viewer's award for their sketch Hjemme hos Haakon Børde.
