Based in the backdrop of 19th century Bengal, Rosogolla is a story of a young man with a romantic heart and brilliant mind — Nabin Chandra Das, who had set his heart on making the most delicious sweet of all time for his wife, Khirodmoni. Rosogolla is a story of the many trial and tribulations in his journey of making something unique, of innocent love, struggle and human aspiration for novelty.

The Indian Bengali film tells us a story about the life of a young doctor who stood against the social superstitions prevalent in the rural areas and is hell bent on bringing in a sea of changes among the villagers.

Kaushik Ganguly will bring the story of dismissal in his new film ‘Palan’ in the context of 2022. The characters of Kharij will remain the same, the names will not change. The story will change a bit to keep pace with the context of this era.
