Blinky Bill est un petit koala doué d’une grande imagination. Aventurier dans l’âme, il rêve de quitter sa petite ville, et de suivre les traces de son père explorateur. M. Bill s’est perdu dans l’Outback australien il y a quelque temps et Blinky est désormais la seule personne à croire que son père est toujours en vie. Mais c’est un monde dangereux – qui recèle de créatures sauvages, petites et grandes – et la mère protectrice de Blinky le garde tout près d’elle. Lorsque Blinky tombe sur un marqueur mystérieux qui lui indique l’emplacement de son père, il ne peut plus résister à l’appel de l’aventure.
