A short film that presents a small excerpt of the family life between a homosexual son and a mother diagnosed with Alzheimer's. The film presents Fernando's conflict in his search for acceptance and recognition from his mother, which is made difficult by the difficult progression of the disease and, possibly, by a veiled prejudice.

Rebeca is a shy 13-year old girl. She has just moved with her mother to an isolated neighborhood in a small town, near Rio de Janeiro. Since someone is breaking into empty houses, Rebeca is forbidden to go out and spends her days alone, watching from above the wall the street where she lives. Until she sees Mika, a girl of her age, skating down her street. Soon Rebecca finds out that Mika is a trans girl. All this time, she’s been stealing small feminine objects from the local houses. The girls are bound together. Their worlds collide.

L’histoire débute lors d’un voyage au Pérou qu’effectuent les Khoury, riche famille brésilienne de médecins propriétaire d’un hôpital, afin de célébrer un événement important de la vie de leur fille, Paloma : son entrée en école de médecine.  C’est là que démarrent les tensions au sein de la famille. Félix, le fils aîné, a mis au point un plan machiavélique pour nuire à sa sœur. Persuadé qu’elle a été adoptée, il compte devenir le seul héritier de la fortune familiale.  Lorsque Paloma découvre ce que Félix affirme être la vérité, elle décide de tout plaquer. Elle fait alors la rencontre de l’aventureux Ninho, dont elle tombe amoureuse et avec qui elle s’enfuit. Mais une grossesse imprévue l’oblige à retourner au Brésil. 

Arriving in Lisbon from London, Basílio falls in love with his cousin Luísa, but he must go to Brazil, promising he will eventually marry her. As time goes by, he sends her a letter ending the relationship and she marries Jorge, an engineer. One of Jorge's rich aunts dies, leaving him a small fortune and her former maid Juliana. Juliana gets hold of love letters between Luísa and Basílio and starts to blackmail her employer.
