It consists of 12 independent units which composed from different point of view of the individual, family and social to explore the timeless life issues - love!

Eighteen years ago, on an ordinary night, seven teenagers, such as Lin Langsheng, Shen Jingyi and Xie Jiafu, who grew up in the estate, quarreled with the villager, Hu Qisi. After the fighting and chasing in the night, Qi Si fell in the pool of blood and died. They ran into a catastrophe and decided to bury the body, praying that this secret will never be known. Over the past 18 years, they have all grown up and established their own careers and lives. However, Qi Si's body was discovered and the secret of that year was unearthed. Inspector Ruan Lijin of the serious crimes team took over the homicide case and gradually revealed the truth.

Keung Yung has had a crush on her co-worker Michael Chiu Wai Kan for over ten years, but she is too afraid to confess her feelings. One night while talking on the phone with her other co-worker Shun Suk Mui, Yung is electrocuted to death because of her bootlegged phone. Regretful of not being able to fulfill her romantic wishes in life, she uses Suk Mui, who is the only person that can see her due to their final phone conversation, to pursue Michael.

Each day, night shift taxi driver Ma Kwai drives female doctor Chong Tsz-Yeuk to and from work on time, cherishing the moments they share, without realizing that he is meant to be her guardian. One night, at midnight, when Ma Kwai is urinating on a highway, he accidentally breaks the spell placed on a hundred-year-old genie, Shek Kam-Dong, and starts having inconceivable experiences. He not only sees things that others around him don't see but also receives superpowers. Though Ma Kwai initially feels very annoyed at this turn of events, he later teams up with Kam-Dong to hunt demons for money.

Nicknamed "King of Hell", night taxi driver Qiao Zuozhi (played by Yang Chaokai) fully utilized the advantages of his profession: he frequently encountered ghosts, and finally lost all his wealth. It was not until he met his middle school classmate Gao Gu Ni (played by Huang Jiandong) that he completely overcame his fear of ghosts and monsters. Gu Ni and Zuozhi were best friends in middle school. After many years, Gu Ni had unexpectedly transformed into a scientist who specialized in the study of energy gathering of spiritual weapons. He was determined to develop spiritual power generation to save the earth's energy crisis and make money from it. Later, the two of them set up the "Demon Taxi Agency" together, hoping to save the world.

Crime profiler Fong Yat-chun receives a bizarre distress call, and the caller is astonishingly from the future. They predict brutal murders are going to take place! Yat-chun teams up with female detective Ying Ho-lam and forensics assistant Chong Ding-kan to prevent the deadly incidents from happening. But the perpetrator gets a head start and commits crime. Yat-chun eventually ascertains the caller’s true identity. He also finds out Ho-lam is going to get into trouble. And Yat-chun knows his destiny as well. However, Yat-chun loses contact with the caller from the future. The perpetrator is getting closer and closer to them! The death clock begins to count down. Successive homicides that are difficult to crack take place. Yat-chun has to race against time as he wants to change the future by tracking down the perpetrator as soon as possible.
