Deeply rooted in local Tianjin culture, the films authentic depiction of the atmosphere of the city is filled with wisdom and energy. Insightful and highly entertaining, the film is a brilliant technical tour-de-force.

Adapted from Zheng Zhi's novel "Victim in Me", Nobody Knows tells the story of a ten-year-long gloomy past of several adolescents. Teenage Qin Li got boycotted and teased at school because his father had committed robbery homicide. Yet, the transfer student, Huang Shu, together with his friends Wang Di and Feng Xuejiao, stood firmly by his side, and the four of them formed a solid friendship. However, the things that happened as they grew up kept challenging their relationship. To support each other or to betray? What would they choose to do?

In the economically developed eastern province of Guangdong, Luoyuan County is a county seat with the lowest public security status, and the flood tide of the era of sweeping and eradicating evil has engulfed it. Wen Yifan, by chance, ends up living with her high school classmate Sang Yan, whom she once rejected. They keep their distance until Wen Yifan learns from Sang Yan that she sleepwalks, intertwining their lives once more.
