Adam Miauczynski, le personnage connu des films précédents du réalisateur Marek Koterski, est un enseignant de 44 ans, qui lit de la poésie pendant les cours et rentre plus tard chez lui en jurant et en appelant les noms de ses voisins. La pire douleur pour lui, ce sont les 5 prochaines minutes de vie. Il ne s'accepte pas et même les contacts quotidiens avec les autres provoquent son agressivité. Bien qu'il rêve constamment d'un amour romantique, il n'est pas assez audacieux pour réaliser ses rêves. Le désespéré Miauczynski personnalise nos propres peurs et obsessions, devenues si visibles ces derniers temps.

Quoi de plus banal et élémentaire que l’asepsie dans la médecine et la chirurgie d’aujourd’hui ? Pourtant, un homme courageux, le docteur Semmelweis, s’est battu contre l’obscurantisme de ses pairs pour tenter de faire prendre au sérieux ses recherches sur asepsie. "Deserter's Gold", the sequel to the very popular "The Deserters", is a rich war comedy, skipping humorously around the more serious dangers of a war. Deserters Gold takes place during World War II, while the first film happened during WWI. The heroes' mission is to rob a Nazi-run bank in Poland for gold that will buy military supplies for the Polish Underground.

Daddy is the story of a divorced father fighting for the right to raise his 7-year-old daughter. When his marriage falls apart, he decides to kidnap his daughter rather than let the court award custody to his mentally ill wife, whom he deems unfit to raise their child. But as he quickly finds out, it's easier to be a real man than it is to be a real father.

The movie is about three brothers and a sister. The brothers include a would-be tough guy thug, a sleazy lawyer and an anarchist. The anarchist and the sister (Maria Strzelecka) have a thing for each other that is more than just sibling affection. Each of them is facing a problem of their own making. A lot depends on how they deal with their issues, as there isn't much lower they can stoop other than being dead. In the beginning of the film there is a lot going on, which makes it a little hard to follow, but that goes along with the theme of chaos.

Kryminalni was a Polish crime drama television series that aired on TVN network from September 18, 2004 until May 24, 2008. It ran for 8 seasons and 101 episodes were broadcast in total. It was created by Polish director and screenwriter Piotr Wereśniak and produced by MTL Maxfilm studio. The series followed life and work of police officers from the elite Criminal Terror and Murders Division of the Warsaw Metropolitan Police; the title refers to police officers in the crime section. The three main characters were Adam Zawada, an experienced, tough cup, his younger colleague Marek Brodecki and Barbara Storosz, an ambitious female officer who in the first season joins the team just after graduating. Although none of the main actors had had star status before the series debuted, all three of them rose to prominence and popularity during the 5-year-long run. Many of Poland's best known actors guest starred, usually playing roles of people involved in just one particular investigation. The serial was one of the most popular in Poland: each week it had an audience of 4 million.
