Redécouvrant les racines de son héritage, il se remémore comment cuisiner les épices grâce aux leçons que donnait son grand-père chez le marchand de saveurs du quartier. Fani est inévitablement catapulté dans un voyage inattendu à Istanbul, un voyage dans le temps et dans l'espace.
