Adela has travelled from Macao to Croatia to visit the Museum of Broken Relationships where she left her boyfriend’s iPhone. A few random meetings later and Adela heads for Belgrade to meet someone named Alex who she met on Instagram. While waiting for his arrival, Adela continues to meet a diverse range of people and with each encounter she explores an unfamiliar land, its people, history and culture, all of which are so different from the country in which she was born. This is a quiet adventure where, in discovering new people, a person discovers herself.

The show's plot revolves around humorous situations involving three generations of the Fazlinovic family living in a Sarajevo apartment. The oldest of the family is Izet. Izet has a son Faruk, who in turn has a son Damir.

Bojana just finished psychology studies and rents a cheap apartment to practice psychotherapy, and is trying to find any kind of job. Zorica, who is a life coach and astrologer, comes from Qatar. Fresh roommates become colleagues and start sharing clients, but also interest in their landlord.

In the period of WW2, in the town of Sarajevo, an owner of a tavern Hilmija must deal with a Nazi and run his business. The problem is that he is a coworker with Serbians, Croatians and Jews. That puts his business as well as his safety in danger.
