Shuzo Mitamura

Minoru has spent most of his life being protected by his spunky female best friend Aki. Fed up, he decides to take up boxing. However, just as he manages to get stronger than Aki she becomes obsessed with boxing herself.

The movie revolves around Mitsuba, who studies traditional art of rakugo. Rakugo is a form of comical story telling, sometimes referred to as sit-down comedy. Even though Mitsuba is mediocre at best, he ends up teaching three students.

When corporate executives are blackmailed into public displays of nudity on the busy streets of Shinjuku, the big guns are called out to locate "Oboreru Sakana". The "big guns" are a misfit duo of ethically questionable characters who must infiltrate a gay nightclub and "fit in" while they search for clues. What ensues is both hilarious and action-packed. Oboreru Sakana is a rather ambitious and often hilarious contemporary crime thriller. Its narrative swings from the grisly to the humorous and pulls in as many pop culture elements as it can manage.

Ryoko a une belle vie avec un travail gratifiant, une belle maison et un petit ami sérieux dans la campagne japonaise. Son mari, Ippei, l'a abandonnée il y a plusieurs années. Un jour, Ryoko et Ippei se retrouvent et Ryoko le laisse vivre chez elle à condition qu'il signe les papiers du divorce. Il emménage ensuite dans le placard de son ex-femme et l'observe à travers un trou dans la cloison subissant l'étrange mélange de gentillesse et de vengeance de Ryoko.
