An idyllic town in the Alps. Here Marianna spends her Easter holidays with her children. Her husband, a showmaster, could not travel because of his job. Zazy lives in the same place and teaches dressmaking there. She is not really happy with that, she would rather go into show business. Together with her friend Tomek she dreams of a life in luxury. In the tailoring Zazy meets Marianna, who has become friends with the owner of the store. When he does not return after a trip with Marianna, Zazy senses the chance to make her dream of a TV career come true.

With a woof-woof here and a baaa-baaa there and a quack-quack, oink-oink everywhere, there's always some furry or feathered creature demanding attention from the Hansens. It's partly because Dr. Philipp Hansen is a veterinarian who's just opened a practice in the big old villa he's moved into with his family. But it's mostly because of ten-year-old daughter Greta, who never saw an animal she didn't want to adopt.

Anna and Jess have been looking forward to going camping together. But their fun trip is cut short when Jess suddenly disappears under mysterious and seemingly supernatural circumstances. Now, Anna resolves to search for Jess and enlists her friends Lukas and Ben to join her. Equipped with cameras, they document and post their journey online for everyone to witness, as it leads them to find brutal creatures and a wide-ranging conspiracy. With each step down this sinister path, Anna discovers ever more of her own dark past… but that is only the start: This nightmare is getting way too real!
