A ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Championship bout between current champion Chingiz Allazov and former Glory Lightweight champion Marat Grigorian headlined the event. The pair met for the first time at Glory 7: Milan in 2013, but the fight ended in a no-contest due to an illegal elbow. Their second meeting took place in Levallois-Perret, France in 2014, where Grigorian won by unanimous decision.

The event was headlined by an interim ONE Strawweight World Championship bout between former champion Jarred Brooks and Gustavo Balart. A ONE Women's Atomweight Submission Grappling World Championship bout between current champion Danielle Kelly and multiple-time IBJJF World Champion Mayssa Bastos took place at co-main event.

ONE Championship: Warriors Of Light was a Combat sport event held by ONE Championship on May 10, 2019 at the IMPACT Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. This event featured two world title fights for the ONE Muay Thai Bantamweight Championship Nong-O Gaiyanghadao vs. Hiroaki Suzuki as headliner and for the inaugural ONE Kickboxing Flyweight Championship Petchdam Gaiyanghadao vs. Elias Mahmoudi as co-headliner.

The event will be headlined by a catchweight Muay Thai bout between Mongkolpetch Petchyindee Academy and former ONE Flyweight Kickboxing title challenger Elias Mahmoudi.
