It's June 24 and the people of Lawan, a Mapuche community in southern Chile, are planning a big celebration for Saint John's Eve. Despite this, Cheo a restless and misfit kid, is not happy because this means the return of his father to the community. He is a violent man who, when he drinks too much, vent his anger with his family, unleashing in Cheo strong desires for revenge.

Tano, adolescent turbulent, est envoyé dans le sud du Chili, chez son père qu’il n’a pas vu depuis plusieurs années. Au lycée, il fait la connaissance de Cheo, jeune garçon timide d’origine mapuche, malmené par les autres élèves. Ils se lient d’amitié, chacun apprenant à dépasser ses difficultés grâce à l’autre. Si Tano canalise progressivement sa colère, Cheo quant à lui trouve la force de revendiquer son identité amérindienne. Tous deux s’impliquent alors dans la défense du territoire Mapuche...

Enrique is a farmer who lives alone on the outskirts of Chillán and speaks daily with his shadow. This is normal until Sofía, a backpacker, arrives at her house asking for accommodation for the night.

Jorge (17) travels from Chiloé to Santiago to look for his unknown father, however, upon arrival he finds a disconcerting surprise that will turn his trip around.
