As was announced at Dominion, new IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay will defend his title against Robbie Eagles in Melbourne. Ospreay, who won this year's Best of the Super Juniors tournament, defeated Dragon Lee to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight title at Dominion. Ospreay then went to the English commentary table and said that he wanted his first defence to be against Eagles. IWGP Tag Team Champions Guerrillas of Destiny will face Juice Robinson & Mikey Nicholls in a non-title match in Melbourne, and Rocky Romero is taking on El Phantasmo in a Best of the Super Juniors rematch

Wrestle Kingdom 14 Night 2 in Tokyo Dome was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). The event took place on January 5, 2020, at the Tokyo Dome, in Tokyo, Japan. It was the 29th January 4 Tokyo Dome Show and it was also the first time the event was held over two days, instead of taking place solely on January 4. In night two's main event, IWGP Heavyweight and the IWGP Intercontinental champions fought each other in a winner takes all match; which was promoted as a Double Gold Dash. In other notable matches, Chris Jericho fought Hiroshi Tanahashi, Jay White took on Kota Ibushi, KENTA defended the NEVER Openweight Championship against Hirooki Goto, Jon Moxley defended the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship against Juice Robinson, Zack Sabre Jr. defended the British Heavyweight Championship against Sanada. The event also saw the retirement match of Japanese wrestling legend Jyushin Thunder Liger.
