Un boulanger désigné comme juré d’assises se transforme en tyran domestique. Il voit le mal partout. Bientôt, il s’identifie avec l’accusé du procès soupçonné d’avoir tué son épouse infidèle.

Chris, un jeune mitron, est renvoyé par son patron pour retards répétés. Pendant ce temps, Liv, une jeune Suédoise, s'installe dans son appartement. Or, il se trouve que Chris est logé par son patron qui veut l'expulser. Par mesure de protestation, il décide de renforcer l'occupation. Liv et Chris sont bientôt rejoints par Rosette vendeuse dans la boulangerie.

Brittany is ethnically rather different from the rest of France and is the home of the largest number of Celtic-speakers outside of the British Isles and Ireland. This French film follows one young man who leaves his Breton homeland and journeys to Paris with the intention of living there. Despite some success in finding work and friends, Paris is not home and the Parisians are not family, so he returns to work with his own people.
