Singer Devu attracts the attention of the lovely Sevanthi with his beautiful voice, but he misreads her appreciation as love and pursues her with purpose, only to see his world shatter when he learns she's engaged to married. The story starts off with an ancient painting of Nagavalli (Vimala Raman), distributed as a prize to bharathanatyam dancer Saraswathi (Lakshmi Gopalaswamy), her husband and her family. At the Engagement day of Gowri (Sandhya), one of her friends had fainted by encountering a huge thirty-feet Snake/Serpent, and the bridegroom/fiancé had ran away from the family house fearing of something. All strange incidents happen as the family called for a snake charmer to the house, but the snake charmer had died when he attempted to make the serpent appear.

Shivaraj falls in love with his manager's daughter, Shruthi. However, she refuses his proposal and challenges him to first earn Rs 5000 without using any influence. Shruthi makes Shivaraj a better person, and they both fall in love. But Shruthi finds out that her best friend Aishwarya is also in love with Shivaraj so she gives up her love for her best friend. Later when Aishwarya learns about SHruthi too being in love with him, she feels guilty and backs off the relationship. Instead, Shivaraj comes up with a mind baffling situation and he sets up both the girls with two of his friends and he finds another girl for himself.

An aspiring police officer and trainee Vamshi (Puneeth Rajkumar) is impulsive and aggressive in his ways, with even a little thing unleashing gruesome anger in him. This attitude costs him his dream, as he fails his interview when the panel realizes that he is too compulsive. However, there is a past that warrants for this behavior of his. When he is rejected by the Police academy, he joins his late father`s gang and becomes a goon. This, he doesn`t realize until later, distance him from his mother and lady love. Understanding their importance, when he tries to walk back from the path of violence and immorality, his henchmen do not let him. Will he be able to reform his life for his, and his family`s sake?
