Twee beste vriendinnen verstoppen zich na sluitingstijd in een luxe warenhuis om 's nachts een schoolverslag te schrijven. In Raging of the whole world are the turbulent early years of Alexander Goudveyl central. The story of Alexander's childhood is also the history of an era, the fifties and sixties, and a never solved murder case. Murder goes back to an authentic incident: in 1956, right before Christmas, a policeman was shot in broad daylight in Maassluis during a large-scale evangelistic campaign. The film also plays a failed escape attempt with a herring trawler involved in the turbulent days of May 1940.

Together they decide to do this project - Marlene will cover the making of Luke's movie as Luke decides to make a film about himself.

The series is about three men aged between 35 and 45 who are in the middle of a divorce. They decide to temporarily live together. They share joys and sorrows, and a deeply rooted friendship grows. The story revolves around everything that a divorce entails: the strong emotions, the quarrels, the mourning, the doubts, the children, finances, rediscovering yourself, starting again, dealing with your ex and dating on your fortieth. But the series is also about a typical male friendship. Men who need but a few words to understand each other, who give each other space to be sad and who back each other up when they are vulnerable. But also men who are not afraid to tell each other the brutal truth.
