Flora Tristán flees to Peru for her inheritance, but her uncle leaves her penniless by altering the will. Returning to France, she becomes a writer and advocate for workers' and women's rights. Despite romantic entanglements, she chooses to focus on her work, leaving behind her love life.

Based on a story titled "The Woman and the Tiger" featured in Peruvian Traditions by Ricardo Palma about a trip of a group of friends that ends up haunted by a mysterious spirit.

The film tells the story of a Miraflorian family composed of Claudia, Daniel's wife and mother of Elías and Sofi. Their lives develop very normally until they are surprised with the terrorist attack on Tarata Street, with which Claudia suffers a very large loss that will make her react to events that happened in front of her for a long time.
