A band of counterfeiters wants to make Hong Kong their new territory. The disgraced leader of the Special Squad will have to team-up with a group of Hong Kong police officers in an attempt to stop the dirty business of crime lord Han Tin Lung, but Han's problem is not only the interference of the Police force, but his Japanese ally Kimura is not happy with his 'cut' in the counterfeit deal and will try to put Donna (a relative of Han) on his side to make Han's business his own property. Both policemen and criminals are highly trained Martial Arts fighters and they will have the chance to prove who has the best Kung Fu techniques.

L'histoire part sur une sorte de quiproquo. Le jeune et insouciant Wong Fei Hung intervertit le paquet d'un voleur, contenant un sceau impérial, avec le sien contenant du ginseng. Les deux hommes se retrouveront et échangeront leur paquet. Le voleur explique alors à Fei Hung qu'il a voulu sauver le sceau, un des bijoux du patrimoine chinois convoité par des colons anglais, qui font passer diverses oeuvres d'art chinoises en Angleterre....

For as far back as he can recall, nationalist martial-arts expert Hung Hei-Kwun (Yen) has idolized mysterious Sun Moon Sect leader "Red Dragon" -- whose hatred for the Ching Dynasty is well known throughout the land. When Hei-Kwun learns that "Red Dragon" is actually his father, Hung Ting-Nam, he quickly resolves to meet his father and idol face to face. A reformed mob hitman opens a tea restaurant with his wife after prison. His daughter conceals his criminal past out of shame, while his son idolizes it and gets into trouble with a local gangster. When a violent clash leaves the wife hospitalized, he's drawn back into his old life, confronting the gangster to protect his family.
