A close look at the modern life details of people representing different social strata, from a street vendor to a political intellectual, touching upon the story of two lovers whose life paths have faltered, as well as a crane operator who doesn't want to leave his homeland despite the circumstances.

During the war, lots of people left Syria towards land of refuge fearing death except Joseph and his company. Meanwhile, his grandchild, Ziyad’s dreams grew but strayed. Together, they head towards a new country and distorted identity.

Its events take place in our current time, the time of the global war on Syria, and it shows us how the mill of war kneads people's destinies. The films deals with the issue of people and war in a humane and sensitive manner.
