The Muscovite family urgently flies to Tashkent. Parents explain such haste to the 12-year-old hero by the need to help his grandfather, who lives in Uzbekistan, with business. The boy saw him only once, in deep childhood, but he remembered that meeting with an eccentric relative well.

For the sake of the family, Vyacheslav Lazarev left the big aviation. The usual routine of Lazarev and his son Kolya is disrupted by a small bear cub, huddled in the cockpit of one of the planes. Little Mansur - as Lazarev and the others called him - having escaped from poachers, becomes attached to Lazarev.

A father and son go on a camping trip to enjoy the pristine nature and spend time together. When they stop for the night, the boy begins to hear strange voices and then disappears without a trace. In the course of long and desperate attempts to find his son, the father meets a hermit living in the forest wilderness. From him the man learns that the forest is full of ancient signs and lives by its own laws.

The film is inspired by an incredible story of a shepherd dog named Palm who was inadvertently left in the airport by her owner. She befriends nine-year old Nicholas whose mother dies leaving him with a father he barely knows - a pilot who finds the dog at the airport. It's a story of amazing adventures, true friendship and unconditional love.

The genius of mathematics Mikhail Nefedov teaches probability theory and mathematical statistics at the university. He remembers everything he has ever heard, seen or read. Mikhail learns that his teenage son has a dangerous genetic disease, the treatment of which will require a multimillion-dollar sum. After selling the apartment, Nefedov makes a perfectly calculated bet on a local football league match, but loses. He couldn't have made a mistake, which means there is an unaccounted variable in the equation. And this is an underground betting business where the results of games are rigged to extract illegal income. Mikhail calculates the organizers of the shadow business and demands his winnings from them. This is how the university teacher's war with the betting mafia begins.
